See the person
We cap most classes at 16 students so teachers can offer adjustments and alternatives. Your body today matters more than an ideal shape on a poster.
A neighbourhood studio built on careful teaching, honest welcome, and the belief that yoga should feel accessible — not exclusive.
Clara Weiss opened Linden House Yoga in 2019 after years of teaching in larger city studios. She wanted a room where teachers could see every student, where props were part of the practice rather than an afterthought, and where nobody felt they had to perform.
The name comes from the linden tree in the courtyard — a gathering place in many European towns. Bergstraße 8 gave us the bones: tall windows, wooden floors, and a quiet street five minutes from Celle's Schloss.
We renovated with restraint: natural materials, muted stone tones, and enough wall space for alignment work. The result is a studio that feels settled — not styled for Instagram, but genuinely pleasant to spend an hour in.
Our approach draws on Iyengar precision, classical hatha, and modern vinyasa — always adapted to the people in the room.

Cues come with context — which muscle, which breath, which intention. Understanding helps you practise independently between visits.
Blocks, straps, bolsters, chairs, and wall ropes are tools, not crutches. We encourage their use at every level.
Yoga here is not a competition. We celebrate consistency over spectacle and rest as much as effort.

Trained in London and Hamburg. Mira's yin classes are student favourites, and her kids yoga sessions fill quickly on Saturdays.
Two practice rooms: the main hall (16 mats) and a smaller room for privates, prenatal, and workshops (8 mats). Both have underfloor heating, filtered air, and dimmable lighting.
The lounge offers tea, changing areas, and lockers. We ask that phones stay on silent and shoes come off at the door — a small ritual that helps everyone arrive.
Getting here: Bergstraße 8, 29221 Celle. Street parking on Bergstraße and nearby side streets. Bus lines 1 and 4 stop at Schlossplatz, a six-minute walk.
"I have practised in studios across Germany. Linden House is the first where I felt teachers genuinely wanted me to understand my body — not just copy theirs."— Thomas R., Hannover
